What inspired you to make this project?
The MIX is a longstanding MakerSpace on the George Mason University campus. Students, faculty and staff use the MIX for teaching, to develop teaching materials, to contribute to their research, in development of Capstone projects, to learn, explore and make from an interdisciplinary approach. The MIX is housed within Mason Enterprise, which is GMU's Entrepreneurship and Innovation wing, and reports to GMU's Vice President of Research, Andre Marshall. Partnerships with academic units, student organizations, and classes result in a range of creative, technical and innovative projects that our staff and space supports.
