Free parking and free bus service will be available from the Wiehle-Reston East Metro station (see below for detail)
You can also walk from the metro (1.5 miles) or bike ride (There will not be a bike corral/valet at the 2017 Faire – if you ride, please bring a lock)
No parking is available at the event location except for special permit and handicap parking.
Take the Metro’s Silver Line to the Wiehle-Reston East station (last stop in Virginia on the Silver Line). As you exit the Metro turnstiles, turn RIGHT to head to the South side of the RTE 267 Toll Road. Free buses run every 10 minutes and will take you directly to the Faire.
We highly encourage those living in or near to Reston or who can to ride your bike to the Faire! Additionally, you can take the Silver Line to Wiehle-Reston East station, exit the South side and follow the map and signs!
There will not be a bike corral/valet at the 2017 Faire. If you ride, please bring a lock.
You can park at the Metro and walk to the Faire. The walk is about 1.5 miles on paths and should take about 30 minutes. You can ride our free bus back to the Metro after the faire if you don’t feel like walking back afterwards.
We’ve made a special arrangement with the Fairfax County Connector to provide free shuttle buses from the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station to the Faire. Plentiful free parking in the Metro-operated garage is available at the station. This is the best option (other than bicycle/walking) as there will be NO parking at the event site except for handicapped patrons and event personnel. Be aware that there are two parking garages at the Metro Station. The Metro Garage is free on the weekends, the other garage is not. If you need to take a ticket to enter a garage, you have the wrong garage. After you park, take the elevators up to the Metro Plaza level and follow signs towards the Metro. You will walk over the two bridges that allow you to cross both sides of the Dulles Toll Road RTE267 highway before descending to the South side of the metro where you will find free buses to the Faire.
Please write email@example.com for information on easiest arrival and parking for handicap or special needs patrons.
