Nick spent 50 years as a hardware engineer and manager with a career spanning computers, automatic test systems, and telecoms equipment. After retiring in 2014, he now spends time making things, taking online classes, brewing, and mangling Chopin on the piano. Nick provided the electronic devices and integrated the Software.
Sharon Dempsey
Reader, blogger, occasional science projects builder, and prime mover behind this project, building from an interest in Virtual Reality and discovery of the open source Software for this.

Elena Bachman
High school senior pursuing mechanical engineering. Captain of First Robotics Competition Team 5549. Designed and welded the tubular frame for the Sandbox application at Nova Labs.

What inspired you to make this project?
We were looking or Virtual or Augmented reality projects and Sharon found the open source SW for this one after we struggled with a more fancy version, so we built it.
