Have you ever wondered “What’s the next big thing, and what will it mean for me…”? For the last 2 decades my job has been to sense, shape and build “the next big thing”, particularly those opportunities brought about by the evolution of the Internet. This includes developing the analyses, strategies, products, and ecosystems as the Internet has gone from PCs to phones, to smartphones, tablets, and now on to the "Internet of Things": wireless consumer and business electronics, M2M, Connected-home, Augmented Reality, Connected-car and Smart Grid. I generally function in roles that require me to wear multiple hats, such as strategy, P&L management, product development, product management, corporate development, business development, & team leader. Usually I work in environments where I might wear most of these hats during a single day or even a 15 minute meeting. My past responsibilities scaled from owning seven-figured P&L in my angel-backed startup, up to my last gig at a $14B “startup”, where I had responsibility for a product line generating a ten-figured annual revenue. During this time I have worked closely with C level execs with many of the Fortune 500, and have been fortunate to have worked with some the world’s most talented and creative people, on some of their most advanced projects. Now I’m working on the next big things that will shape the next 2-3 decades.
