Backyard Blacksmith
How to set up your own blacksmith operations in your backyard using readily available items from a hardware store. Will be demonstrating knife making as well as other ornamental iron items using this setup.

Alex is currently a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science & Technology. He is interested in material science and metallurgy and enjoys making things with his hands. Blacksmithing allows him to combine both. He plans to study mechanical engineering and material science in college and how they can be applied to the field of biomimetics.

What inspired you to make this project?
My interest in material science and metallurgy as well as my liking to create things with my hands.
