Bridget Murphy

Bridget Murphy received her MFA from Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY and her BFA from Saint Mary’s College, Notre Dame, IN. She is currently Associate Provost and Professor of Graphic Design at Marymount University in Arlington, VA. Bridget has been teaching since 2001 and has worked in the design industry for over thirty years. As an artist, designer, and educator, her passion for fine arts and design began in high school. She has been printing for the past 5 years at Discover Graphics Atelier at the Torpedo Factory, Alexandria, VA. Her paintings, mixed media, and prints have been exhibited in local and regional shows. She continues to explore her passion of seeing, creating, educating, and communicating the importance of creativity.
