I am an Electrical Engineer living and working in Arlington, VA, and in my free time I like to tinker with electronics hardware. I've worked on a wide range of projects from Robotics to Amateur Radio to Data Science software projects, and am always looking to get into something new.

What inspired you to make this project?
I co-organize an event called Hack && Tell in Washington DC, where people are encouraged to give short 5-minute presentations about cool projects that they worked on. I saw a presentation by someone named Ed O'Brien in which he demonstrated using the WMATA API to light up an Adafruit Neo-Pixel strip to show the position of the Green line trains in real time. I thought that was pretty cool, so I decided to see if I could make a complete system that shows the whole DC Metro System with a custom electronic design, and apparently I could!
